WHO YOU ARE:
We are seeking a talented and driven Affiliate & Content Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team, under our Demand Gen + Growth sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in content creation, strategy, and distribution, with a focus on driving engagement and generating leads. This role is perfect for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about creating content that educates, engages, and inspires our target audiences. This individual should have experience with SEO, content creation, copywriting, and social media. 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Affiliate + Organic Traffic: 

  • Manage PEX’s placement on affiliate and referral websites; such as G2, Capterra, Trust Pilot, and more. Collaborate closely with PEX’s Customer Success team to help drive reviews, and manage affiliate campaigns. 
  • Own PEX’s organic and affiliate channels. Work to continuously optimize for SEO, web- traffic, and conversions. 
  • Provide regular reports on effectiveness and ROI, along with recommendations for improvement. 

Content Marketing: 

  • Manage the end-to-end operations of content marketing;  including planning, creating, distributing, tracking, and optimizing. 
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute a comprehensive content marketing strategy aligned with business goals and target audience needs. Help to create content concepts from a campaign and evergreen standpoint. 
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify content opportunities and trends within the fintech/payments industry. Stay on top of the latest industry trends, and competitive intel. 
  • Create and manage a content calendar that includes blog posts, articles, whitepapers, case studies, social media content, email campaigns, and more.
  • Produce high-quality, engaging, and SEO-optimized content that resonates with our audience, including blog posts, thought leadership articles, and more.
  • Own PEX’s external resource library, working with demand gen and product marketing managers. 
  • Develop and execute content distribution strategies across multiple channels, including social media, emails, newsletters, and affiliate websites.
  • Manage PEX’s additional copywriting and design resources to help prioritize, reach deadlines, and provide context on content pieces as they relate to internal operations. 

MISCELLANEOUS: 

  • Provide support in event marketing initiatives, helping to organize tradeshows, conferences, etc. 
  • Maintain social media presence and profile optimization 

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration,  Communications, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in content marketing,  within the fintech, SaaS, or financial services industry.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in SEO best practices and content management systems (CMS).
  • Experience with the following platforms:  WordPress, Salesforce, Hubspot, Google Analytics, PowerBi 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
